Renowned for his ability to lead and manage complex cyber investigations, Mr. Theisen brings a wealth of expertise honed through his tenure as a Special Agent in the FBI as well as the Branch Chief of Cyber Integrity for the Executive Office of the President of the United States at the White House.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Theisen distinguished himself at leading international consulting firms, where he addressed a wide range of critical information security challenges for clients worldwide. He has significant investigative experience leading numerous highly technical and complicated cyber incidents requiring multidiscipline and multinational collaboration.
In a strategic career move, Mr. Theisen served as General Manager for a client’s innovative startup company in 2017. This technical venture, focused on developing groundbreaking math systems for information security and supply-chain management, provided him with hands-on experience leading the production of advanced prototypes, including data encoding and an artificial intelligence-driven supply-chain management solution.
Mr. Theisen’s career also includes a notable record of government service. As a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), he conducted in-depth investigations into a variety of cyber crimes, including computer intrusions, cyber counterintelligence, and cyber counterterrorism matters. Mr. Theisen also served as the Branch Chief of Cyber Integrity at the Executive Office of the President, where he provided strategic leadership in information risk management and assurance, safeguarding critical national assets.
