Mark Manousogianis is a Senior Director in the Cybersecurity practice at FTI Consulting, based in Los Angeles. He has more than 30 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity with expertise in offensive security consulting. Mr. Manousogianis provides offensive security leadership and strategic advisory services to organizations seeking to understand and reduce their exposure to real-world cyber threats.
Mr. Manousogianis works closely with clients to define their offensive security objectives, identify the appropriate scope and methodology for their environment, and ensure that testing activities are aligned with their actual business risk. His hands-on experience spans internal and external network penetration testing, web and mobile application assessments, cloud security reviews, wireless security testing, physical intrusion simulations, social engineering campaigns, and full-scope red team and adversary simulation operations.
Mr. Manousogianis has conducted engagements against highly regulated enterprise environments, including large financial institutions, healthcare, casino and gaming operations, infrastructure, and major technology organizations, consistently identifying critical exposures that automated tools and compliance programs fail to surface. He approaches every engagement with an attacker’s mindset, stress-testing defenses across people, processes, and technology to give clients an accurate, unfiltered picture of their true risk.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Manousogianis built and led a national offensive security practice at a major consulting firm, developing the methodologies, delivery standards, and quality processes used across the practice. He also served as a senior information assurance leader at a large financial institution, where he created the organization’s first dedicated offensive security program, including its governance framework, testing workflows, and long-term improvement roadmap.
Over the course of his career, he has delivered complex offensive engagements for some of the most security-conscious organizations in the world, earning a reputation for technical depth, clear communication, and the ability to cut through complexity and deliver the answers clients need.
