Kate Brader is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity practice for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Region. Ms. Brader has over 15 years of experience helping organisations build their resilience by preparing for and responding to major issues and crises.
She has led reviews of global crisis management and business continuity management systems, and the development of crisis management functions, capabilities, and culture. She has also conducted major cyber incident simulation exercises at the Board level.
More recently, Ms. Brader developed and led Deloitte’s ‘Live Response’ capability. She designed models and mechanisms for deploying teams to support clients in challenging environments and coordinated the first response to a number of high-profile cyber incidents, or potential extinction events.
Ms. Brader has a B.A. in Politics from Durham University and an M.A. in International Political Economy from Newcastle University.
