At FTI Consulting, Mr. Snyder leads cybersecurity teams across a variety of engagement subject matter, leveraging his extensive background in managing complex investigations and incident response. He has experience building investigative cases, conducting root-cause analysis, gathering threat actor intelligence, and coordinating with law enforcement. He supports program development and maturity efforts for clients seeking to build secure and resilient security, privacy, and risk management programs, and has managed the delivery of expert witness reports for litigation efforts.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Snyder spent more than four years at Amazon managing offensive security programs in web application and wireless testing, as well as leading the Wireless Security Operations Center supporting AWS re:Invent and AWS re:Inforce. Mr. Snyder also served as the Global Lead for Fusion Analysis at a global consulting firm, where he developed the core cyber threat analysis function for the global enterprise. Earlier in his career, he was accountable for incident management processes and command-and-control for major cyber incidents at a large financial services firm.

Before entering the private sector, Mr. Snyder was an Intelligence Analyst with the FBI, where he investigated both national security and criminal cyber intrusions, in addition to counterterrorism matters. Furthermore, he retired in 2024 as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the New Jersey Army National Guard, where he served as a Principal Cyber Advisor. His military career spanned more than 23 years including 15 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and eight years in the Army National Guards. During his career, Mr. Snyder served as an Intelligence Officer in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mr. Snyder holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from La Salle University and a master’s degree in cybersecurity from Thomas Edison State University.
