Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Ruzic served as the Branch Chief of the Foreign Investment Risk Branch at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where she managed the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and Team Telecom risk analysis programs. In this role, she developed and implemented strategic plans to identify and mitigate national security risks associated with foreign investment in the United States. While at CISA, Ms. Ruzic also advised senior U.S. government personnel on strategic defense and mobilization planning, advanced persistent threats, critical infrastructure and cybersecurity resilience, subsea cables, and emerging technical, regulatory, and geopolitical risks.

Ms. Ruzic’s experience also includes serving as Acting Deputy Director at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she played a key role in shaping the USG’s approach to foreign investment, national security policy, and international security issues. She collaborated with over 50 international partners, including the European Union, Singapore, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Korea, to develop and implement strategies to address emerging global threats.

Additionally, Ms. Ruzic worked at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where she built and managed the SEC’s information security and compliance assessment programs. She also served as Senior Information Security Specialist and Cyber Policy Expert at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), where she developed a cybersecurity risk examination programs for non-bank financial institutions.

Ms. Ruzic is a recipient of several awards, including the Secretary Honors Award from the U.S. Department of the Treasury and CISA Workforce Award, among others. She received a master’s degree in Global Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
