Mr. Araujo is a Senior Director in the Cybersecurity practice at FTI Consulting and is based in São Paulo. He has more than 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity and technology industry and has extensive knowledge in areas such as cyber governance, risk & compliance, assessments, third party risk management, and data privacy.
At FTI Consulting, Mr. Araujo leads the Cybersecurity practice in São Paulo, Brazil, supporting cyber readiness, incident response, and complex investigation engagements, including maturity, compliance, privacy, and regulatory assessments. He has experience with control frameworks such as ISO 27000 family, NIST, and CIS, amongst others, and knowledge of regulations, including LGPD, GDPR, BACEN, and SUSEP.
Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Araujo worked as Head of Information Security at Mutant, where he led the elaboration and execution of the Information Security Master Plan, focusing on a continuous and structured elevation of the maturity level through strategic partnerships. Mr. Araujo also has experience as a Cybersecurity Manager at ICTS Protiviti, where he worked on the analysis and remediation of internal and external infrastructure and web application vulnerabilities.
Mr. Araujo holds a B.S. in Information Technology Management from FANESE, an MBA in Project Management from FGV, and an MBA in Information Security Management from FIAP.
