Austin Jeffers is a Managing Director of Business Development in FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity practice. Ms. Jeffers is a client relationship and partnerships executive with more than 20 years of experience supporting organizations across cybersecurity, digital forensics and incident response (“DFIR”), and risk management. She provides guidance to teams on developing effective strategies and clear communication to ensure clients receive tailored, high-quality solutions.
At FTI Consulting, Ms. Jeffers focuses on building and nurturing strong client relationships — particularly around cybersecurity retainer offerings — to help organizations proactively manage security challenges. She is recognized for her ability to establish trusted partnerships with clients, channel partners and law firms, ensuring consistent support and value.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Jeffers served as Director of Strategic Partnerships for North America at CyXcel, where she led U.S. market strategy for incident response and digital forensics and managed a channel partner program that strengthened insurance carrier relationships. Earlier in her career, she held senior business development roles at Kroll, including Senior Vice President of Business Development for Fortune 100 clients and Vice President of Business Development for Cyber Risk. Her work at Kroll included fostering robust client relationships and spearheading business growth initiatives within the risk advisory domain. Through an in-depth understanding of cyber risk, managed security services and offensive security services, she ensured that clients received comprehensive support before, during and after a cybersecurity incident.
Ms. Jeffers earned a B.A. from Bethel University. She continues to be recognized for her ability to foster trusted partnerships and deliver strategic value that supports clients’ long-term security objectives.
