Mr. Parro is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity practice, based in Madrid, Spain. He is a cybersecurity leader with more than 11 years of experience guiding organizations through complex cybersecurity challenges.
Mr. Parro previously served as the Head of Global Cyber Incident Management at Grupo Santander, overseeing the emergency response to hundreds of critical cybersecurity threats. He designed and implemented Santander´s global operational model for cyber incident management, with local-to-global escalation paths and aligned tooling and processes. He built a dedicated team of expert incident handlers and investigators with 24/7 coverage.
Mr. Parro is highly experienced in cyber incident readiness projects, specifically in advising Boards and VIPs, building policies, processes, and playbooks, delivering cyber crisis simulations/wargames and post-incident analysis. He has deep experience in supply chain and third-party cyber risks, regulatory compliance, and maximizing ransomware readiness.
Prior to his work at Santander, Mr. Parro spent seven years at leading consulting firms, gaining valuable industry experience. He is certified in SANS GSEC and GCIH.
