Steve Morgan is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s EMEIA Cybersecurity practice, focusing on proactive services, insider threat, counterintelligence, and investigations. Mr. Morgan has 15 years of global security experience, spent countering sophisticated internal and international threats from a variety of state-level, terrorist and cyber actors.
Mr. Morgan joined FTI Consulting from the British Government where, until recently, he was the British Prime Minister’s Chief of Security, responsible for managing all aspects of cybersecurity, insider threats, and investigations at 10 Downing Street. Prior to that he advised PM Theresa May’s team on security through the early Brexit negotiations, following a decade as a strategic risk advisor, crisis manager, and leader on countering insider and other sophisticated threats to UK interests, working across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has repeatedly created world-leading capabilities from scratch, planned for and led organisations through some of their most difficult challenges, and operated in some of the most challenging global environments.
Mr. Morgan has a BSc in Economics from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in International Security from Cranfield University and the UK Defence Academy. He is also a Chartered Security Professional and a qualified pilot.
