Olivia Bruton is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity practice and is based in Washington, DC. Ms. Bruton serves as the project manager for clients undergoing crisis events or cybersecurity incidents. In her role, Ms. Bruton develops and implements tactical strategies to address clients’ evolving and complex needs. She is often responsible for the day-to-day execution of activities, as well as researching, analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting investigative findings to clients and relevant stakeholders.
Ms. Bruton was previously a Director within the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting, working across its Crisis, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Restructuring & Financial Issues specialty teams. In this role, she advised companies and developed and executed multi-stakeholder communication programs around moments of significant change, including transactions and integration, corporate restructurings, crisis events, reputational challenges, and executive transitions. Ms. Bruton also has experience advising clients on crisis preparedness. She worked on a variety of client teams related to ongoing shareholder communication, investor relations, and targeting.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Bruton was an Assistant Account Executive at Weber Shandwick, where she facilitated the daily management of client account teams, spearheading client projects from the research and development phase through to full execution.
Ms. Bruton graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.
