Ms. Davenport is a highly skilled regulatory compliance executive with more than 20 years of experience in information security, focused on developing data compliance programs that protect personal data from problem identification through implemented solutions.

Ms. Davenport joins FTI Consulting from Meta, where she served as the Head of Regulatory Readiness and Response Programs for WhatsApp. She led a team of experts to deliver strong programmatic execution for global data compliance, including information security, content/integrity, and business regulatory strategy for WhatsApp. She assessed geographic and intra-company contagion risks and created readiness and response strategies to align the interests of product, policy, legal, engineering, and marketing.

Before her tenure at Meta, Ms. Davenport held the position of Chief Privacy Officer and Vice President of Privacy Programs at HITRUST Alliance. In this role, she spearheaded information security and privacy initiatives and developed a comprehensive, regulation-agnostic privacy framework. Leveraging HITRUST’s renowned MyCSF platform, she ensured privacy compliance and provided assurances of privacy to various industries and jurisdictions.

Previously, Ms. Davenport was a Senior Manager, Cyber Risk – Data Privacy at Deloitte, where she notably led a cross-discipline team of information security, data governance, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity specialists through a 15-month project to develop a GDPR-compliant privacy program for a major international cruise line. This resulted in the establishment of a centralized governance structure, implementation of information security-enhancing technologies, including OneTrust, and the development of general cybersecurity and privacy training across the organization.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Davenport was a Law Partner at Chitwood Harley Harnes LLP, where she created a comprehensive compliance program to monitor new and existing regulations across the nation. Subsequently, she founded INSIGHT. Legal. Consulting. Monitoring., a consultancy focused on analyzing information security and data breach trends in regulations, investigations, litigation, and settlements by esteemed authorities like the U.S. Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission.

Ms. Davenport holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Emory Law and a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association and is CIPP, CIPM, FIP, and CDPSE certified.
