Donald Good is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity practice and is based in Dallas. Mr. Good has over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity with strong expertise in establishing highly collaborative partnerships, setting the vision, and building organizational strategy to achieve results.
Mr. Good has extensive experience partnering with clients to respond to cyber incidents, enhance their cybersecurity posture, increase cyber resilience, and develop a robust cyber threat intelligence program to mitigate cyber and fraud risk.
Mr. Good currently leads FTI Consulting’s cybersecurity effort in Texas and surrounding states. Some of his recent engagements include cybersecurity maturity assessments, tabletop exercises, and response to cyber incidents. Mr. Good has served as an interim Chief Information Security Officer and provided expert witness testimony in a significant data breach that involved a major financial institution.
Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Good was the Head of Global Fraud Fusion and Intelligence at Citibank, where he provided executive oversight for all fraud threat intelligence and internal fraud prevention within the global consumer bank. He was also the executive lead for the redesign of Citibank’s Fraud Fusion Center, where his focus was preventing cyber-enabled fraud.
Before joining Citibank, Mr. Good was a Director in Navigant Consulting’s Information Security Practice. There, he led cyber incident response and developed the firm’s cyber advisory practice.
In June 2016, Mr. Good retired from the FBI after serving more than 20 years as a Special Agent and holding several senior executive positions. Prior to his retirement, he served as the Deputy Assistant Director in the Cyber Division where he had global responsibility for cyber investigations, cyber threat intelligence, private sector engagement, and led the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force. During his career, Mr. Good worked and had direct oversight for hundreds of investigations. As a result of his extensive cyber experience, Mr. Good was frequently called upon to speak at global cybersecurity events and major conferences, including Black Hat and the annual Financial Industry Regulatory Authority conference.
