Benito D’Onofrio is a Director in FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity practice and is based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. D’Onofrio worked for the Department of Defense (DOD), United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), where he served as a Digital Network Exploit Analyst. During his tenure at USCYBERCOM he was responsible for managing mission requirements for cyber operations and triaging new malware. He was also responsible for providing evaluation and analysis of capabilities and propagation techniques, and for creating comprehensive adversary exploitation strategies to identify technical and operational vulnerabilities within target network systems. Additionally, Benito was a Target Digital Network Analyst providing advanced analysis to establish target identification, pattern of life, and malicious tradecraft that affect military systems.
Prior to his time at USCYBERCOM, Mr. D’Onofrio was an Instructional Technologist and System Administrator for Fordham University where he presented new and emerging technologies to faculty and staff and provided instruction on how to incorporate such advancements into the classroom experience.
Mr. D’Onofrio maintains industry recognized certifications in Network+, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, Penetration Testing, and Malware Reverse Engineering.
Mr. D’Onofrio holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fordham University.
