If history is a guide, inevitably the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan will be the target of cyber attacks. The most likely adversaries are nation-state actors aiming to embarrass Japan on the world’s stage, to cause panic and confusion, to help aid a political goal, or to conduct espionage.
